Lectures

Rupprecht Podszun regularly teaches in the Law programme of the University of Düsseldorf. He mainly teaches competition law, unfair business practices and IP courses, but also teaches a range of subjects from general civil law. For first year students, we run the course “LAW 100 – Law and the big questions of our time”, a programme that we developed to connect legal thinking with on-going debates in society.  We regularly have seminars on various topics and engage in activities such as the lecture series on economic law. Rupprecht is the co-ordinator of the programme "Law for Non-Lawyers".

Apart from teaching at HHU, Rupprecht Podszun also regularly gives lectures at the Munich Intellectual Property Law Center (MIPLC) and for lawyers in training courses of the Bar Association. He is a frequent speaker at national and international competition law conferences.

The other members of our team also regularly teach at Heinrich Heine University. Thilo Klawonn is responsible for the Law for Non-Lawers Programme and lectures the module "Commercial Law" as well as a seminar in said program. Tristan Rohner does the Case Studies in Competition Law. He also founded a working group with postgraduates in economics to deepen understanding and cooperation. The other research associates give seminars in civil law for undergraduate students.

Once a year, we convene the Open Seminar for Ph.D.-Students in Competition Law in Düsseldorf. You may find further information on the website of the Institute for Antitrust law: www.ikartr.hhu.de.
