SCiDA - scida

SCiDA is the abbreviation for “Shaping Competition in the Digital Age”. The research will cover principles, legal tools and the institutional design of the new regulations. We work on a constantly evolving object. With every new case brought by one of the authorities or in courts, digital regulation will get fresh impulses.

The case-by-case approach also explains the acronym SCiDA (Shaping Competition in the Digital Age): In Latin, scida means a leaf of paper, a strip of papyrus bark. The word characterises the evolving approach used in this project that will accompany on a day-to-day basis what the authorities are doing. It is only when all strips of papyrus come together that there will be papyrus sheet.
