Dr. Gregor Zons has attracted funding from the German Research Foundation (DFG) in the amount of 334.415 € for his project “Who do parties select as their electoral leaders and why?”. The project investigates, first, whether electoral leaders for parliamentary elections hold any other leadership positions at the same time and, secondly, the party careers of electoral leaders. The project will start in early 2019 and will last for 3 years.
